Booking Settings
Booking settings control when customers can schedule a service with you. Get these right and you'll never have a double-booking or a scheduling conflict.
Accessing booking settings
Open any service product, scroll down to the Service Booking section. All settings below are found there.
Availability windows
Set which days and hours you're open for bookings.
Day selection: Toggle each day of the week. Days toggled off won't appear in the customer's date picker.
Hours: For each active day, set your start and end time. For example:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Sunday: off
Set availability slightly narrower than your real working hours. This leaves buffer at the start and end of each day for admin work and travel.
Buffer time
The gap enforced between consecutive bookings. Measured in minutes.

| 0 min | Back-to-back sessions allowed |
| 15 min | 15 minutes between each session |
| 30 min | Half-hour gap between sessions |
| 60 min | One full hour between sessions |
Buffer time is added after each session. A 60-min session with 15-min buffer means the next slot opens 75 minutes after the first booking starts.
Advance booking window
How far in advance customers can book:
- Minimum notice — earliest a customer can book (e.g. 24 hours in advance). Prevents last-minute surprises.
- Maximum advance — how many days ahead a customer can book (e.g. 60 days). Prevents calendar being filled months out with uncertain bookings.
Session capacity
By default, each time slot can only be booked by one customer. If you run group sessions (e.g. a workshop for up to 8 people), set Max capacity to the group size.
When capacity is reached, the slot shows as "Full" on the customer's calendar.
Blocking time off
To block specific dates (holidays, travel, personal time):
- Open the service product
- Go to Blocked dates
- Click Add and pick a date or date range
- These dates won't appear in the customer's date picker
