Required fields

Title

The product name as it appears on your storefront. Use clear, descriptive names:

  • Good: "Handmade Leather Wallet — Brown"
  • Avoid: "Product 1" or "New Item"

Handle (URL slug)

Auto-generated from the title. "Handmade Leather Wallet" becomes /products/handmade-leather-wallet. You can edit this if needed — it must be unique across all products.

Description

Write 2–5 sentences describing your product. This appears below the title on the product page and helps with SEO. Avoid marketing fluff — customers want to know exactly what they're buying.

Optional but recommended

Categories

Assign your product to one or more categories (e.g. "Wallets", "Leather Goods", "Accessories"). Categories appear in navigation and help customers browse.

💡Tip

If you don't have categories set up yet, you can create them under Products → Categories in the sidebar, then come back and assign them.

Collections

Collections group products for merchandising (e.g. "New Arrivals", "Sale", "Gift Ideas"). Unlike categories, collections are manually curated.

Tags

Add searchable tags (comma-separated). These power internal search and Algolia indexing.

Metadata

Key-value pairs for developer use. Leave empty unless you have specific integration needs.

Status

StatusVisible on storefront?
DraftNo
PublishedYes
RejectedNo (review workflow only)

Set status to Published when you're ready for the product to go live. You can save in Draft mode first and publish later.

After saving

Once saved, the product appears in your catalogue. If Algolia search is enabled, it will be indexed automatically within 30 seconds.
