Store Configuration
Core store settings live under Settings â Store. These control how your store identifies itself and which currencies it supports.
Store details
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Store name | Displayed in customer emails and the storefront header. Customers see this name â make it match your brand. |
| Swap link lifetime | How long exchange / return links remain valid (in days). Default: 14 days. |
| Payment link lifetime | How long payment links sent for draft orders remain valid. Default: 14 days. |
| Invite link lifetime | How long admin invite emails remain valid before expiring. Default: 7 days. |
Keep the store name consistent with your domain and email sender name. If customers see "Sokobuni" in an email but the logo says something different, it creates confusion.
Currencies
Default currency
The default currency is used when a customer's region or country cannot be determined. It also appears as the base currency in reports.
To change it: Settings â Store â Default currency. Select from the list of enabled currencies.
Adding supported currencies
Click + Add currency and search by name or ISO code (e.g. KES, USD, GBP). Added currencies become available to assign to regions.
Adding a currency here does not automatically make it available at checkout. You also need to assign it to a Region under Settings â Regions. Think of the store-level currency list as a master list; regions pick from it.
Removing a currency
You can only remove a currency if no region currently uses it. If the remove button is greyed out, check which region is using the currency and update or delete that region first.
Payment and fulfilment providers
Installed providers appear under Settings â Providers. This is a read-only list â providers are configured during store setup by your platform administrator. If you need to add or remove a payment provider, contact your administrator.
Danger zone
At the bottom of Settings â Store is the store deletion option. This permanently deletes your store, all products, all orders, and all customer data. There is no undo.
Store deletion is irreversible. Export all data before deleting. This action requires administrator-level access and should only be used when decomissioning a store completely.
